About Danita Dubinsky Aziza

Danita Dubinsky Aziza is passionate about and committed to helping individuals take control of their health.  She holds a Master of Arts Degree in Political Science, a Bachelor of Education Degree and is a Registered Health and Nutrition Counselor (LHNC™).  In 1993 Danita founded Healthy Home Services Inc. The environmental home product and consulting company, devoted to helping individuals struggling with allergies, asthma and chronic illness lead healthier lives, was the first of its kind in Canada. At the time, few were aware of the effects of poor indoor air quality on human health.

Over the past thirty years Danita has been committed to learning all she can about human health and wellness.  What initially began as a personal quest for improved health, evolved into a strong desire to inform and empower people to become their own health advocates.  Danita believes that knowing how to easily and effectively integrate the basics of preventative health into daily life is often overlooked, but is absolutely essential for physical and emotional well-being.

Danita has combined years of self -directed and formal learning with personal experience helping herself, family members and countless numbers of individuals and clients achieve improved states of health and well-being.  Preventative Health First is based on the premise that good preventative health practices can produce positive health outcomes.

Danita has enjoyed diverse experiences within the public and private sectors both as a professional and as a volunteer.  She has sat on numerous boards and committees including being a member of Winnipeg Regional Health Authority's Health Involvement Group and President of Jewish Child & Family Service.  Danita is author of the book, Finding Home a Journey of Life Lessons in the Land of Israel.
